Dayton C. Miller Honor Society

The role in this project was as a Content Editor. Using WordPress, a template and a tagging system was created. Pushed over 100 posts for the 2022 inductees in a timely fashion. This required constant communication, flexibility, and a basic design sense. Photoshop was used to edit the pictures.

UX Center

The role of this job was as a Web Developer. A 5-paged website was built from the ground up with Drupal. All the elements are custom coded, from the nav bar to the slideshows. It is hosted on a Linux server. Hundreds of line of code were written and reviewed in the process. Knowledge of front-end code, Bootstrap 5, advanced design techniques, documentation writing, and MySQL was required.

Mason Graphics

The website you are visiting now. The primary role for this project is as a Web Designer. Six pages were built from the ground up on WordPress, and hosted with DreamHost. Uses the Astra Theme and built with a mixture of custom code and Elementor. Requires an advanced design sense, basic front-end code, and a bit of photo editing knowledge. All photos unless otherwise described are taken by Ash Mason.

Logo Samples

A multi-purpose logo that works well for a small, chic business. The text is a pure black (HEX #00000) with a thin white outline to provide visibility on screens with dark backgrounds. The "S" is from a font called Great Vibes, while the rest of the text is from Gabriola. The abstract sun is colored in HEX #FFee00. Created in Inkscape.

A modern-feeling logo meant to target the software industry. The text uses the Montserrat Thin font with the HEX color #FF9900. The open circle is a gradient that utilizes a variety of transparencies and shades of blue to create the illusion of light and shadow. Created in Inkscape.
A purple logo named "Lavenderlane" in an eloquent font. Lavender and lane are different shades of purple. The end of the e extends into an underline of the entire word.
A two-word logo made to invoke elegance. The L uses the font of Autumn Flowers, while the rest of the text uses Tangerine. The word "Lavender" is colored in HEX #AA87DE. The word "lane" uses HEX #8A6F91. The underline that extends from the last letter is hand-drawn. Created in Inkscape.
A yellow logo named "Gildia" in a art deco font. The underline consists of a thin yellow line and red diamonds that mimic stained glass.
This is the perfect logo for something more artsy, like an indie art gallery. The font used is Antique Book Cover, and is colored in HEX #efe075. The yellow underline matches this. The red diamonds are in HEX #FF8561 at 75% opacity, which was purposefully chosen both for contrast and to give a stained glass effect. Created in Inkscape.

This is a good multipurpose logo for something more upscale, such as a restaurant or a florist's shop. Most of the font is done in HEX #784421, with the plant replacing the l colored in #008000. The main font is Debonair Inline NF, with Florialia used for the frond. Created in Inkscape.
